Paula Scher biographic point

Paula Scher's graphic design style is considered integral to her home, New York's image. Her work is designed to raise questions rather than give answers which adds viewer engagement. Her advertising posters are made to match the tone of what they are presenting (tap dancing, music, etc) Her father was a strict map maker who admitted her own maps were made more creatively. 5 Interesting Typefaces

Image
Break On Through is a font that presents each letter like they were applied with a stamp in a messy way, which makes it look authentic and convincing. Monera Calm gives each letter a painted look with natural brush strokes and a consistent gap inside each stroke which looks convincingly imperfect and charming. Honey Cookies utilises its typography in an imaginative way. Every letter looks radically different from each other but still has a consistent art style. The typography of Guevara has fire protruding from the bottom of the text. It's hard to tell if the fire is being viewed through the text like a window or if the text itself is on fire, both interpretations showing the typography as chaotic. Cubic presents its typography using only hexagonal lines. The ability to show every letter like this is impressive and results in a consistently sci-fi looking font.
